The last half of the month has been incredibly busy and I have found myself needing a bit of a breath from some of my duties. I have been a bit overwhelmed at times with reinserting into society but somehow have continued moving through realizing it’s a bit in my head and it has been close to seven years since I have put myself into social avenues. It all started with a surprise invitation from a friend to attend a Great Gatsby theme Charity event which led to the following Saturdays event of a friends birthday bash. He had rented a house boat for the weekend on the lake and what was a verified ability to return home when we needed to take care of Sigmund ended us up with rock climbing a cliff with bags and coolers at 9 p.m. at night with the last boat leaving the island. The boat taxi guy decided to not go to work that day leaving much of us party goers stranded. I had always had an impression that lake people were friendly and assisted whoever needed a ride but not the party side of the lake. We asked so many people and finally we found a party barge crew who would let us on for a trip back to the dock. I can definitely say I like the hippie hollow/sailboat people much better when it comes to being stranded. Here are the pics from the months events. They tell the story.
The Great Gatsby Party

Yes that is a young Robert Redford/Bill Clinton look alike behind us.

Derrick’s Birthday Bash at Lake Travis

Yep that’s the crazy kids of the weekend.
Left to Right: Derrick, Kelly (who saved my bedmate and I from having to swim home that night.), and Hillary

I can’t tell you who two of the three girls are but the one in the middle is Brittany.
Besides, at some point who cares it’s girls in bikinis.
